Iv' e finally figured out why my sewing lacks....I don't have one of these awesome rooms to sew in. If I had one I know my piecing would be better. Ha!.
I know you are loving every minute you spend there and many wonderful things will be created from just having this room.

The class went well--it was a lot of fun. Meredith took to it like a duck to water. I, on the other hand, would require a LOT of practice before I ever quilted anything worth keeping. I am so conflicted about making the purchase!!

Did you enjoy it? Or was it too frustrating? If you had fun doing it, I would say go ahead and get it because you would still have fun practising until you were happy with the quilting. But if you didnt enjoy it, you might never enjoy it.

Loretta-yes and no--it is a rooster, but it is a wool applique that a friend did for me. I took her to her first quilt show. She had a lot of fun looking at all the quilts and shopping the vendors. But, when she first discovered wool there---it was like I had created a monster!!! The next thing I knew she had a "wool stash" like none I have ever seen! She is very creative-never bought a pattern, but turned out beautiful work.
