Well some wha against my good judment I am posting pictures of the quilt I am working on.
It has some rough spots and I had hoped it would look better when I got this close to finishing it.
I plan to make decorative stiching over the quilt squares , I hope fully to fully cover up the original stitching because a lot of it looks really bad.
I am making it for a day bed for my daughter and I decided to put a skirt on it

I am not sure why you were afraid to post the pic ? Your colors work well together, the pattern is fine, looks good to me
Really neat that you are making it longer on the sides. How old is your daughter ? My sons would need it longer to cover all their "stuff" under the bed  LOL

I have learned alot of things I did wrong on this one and I think the main one was I did not work in squares I worked in strips from top to bottom.
Oh well it has been a learning experiance and I have learned a lot since I joined the Quilting Board and I want to thank everyone for their encouragement and support.
Now I know where I can go when I have any questions and that will help a lot. I hope I don't become a pest since I really love quilting and would like to be able to turn out some as beautiful as some I have seen on the Quilting Board.

To be honest, the quilt is very attractive. I like the colors alot. I see a couple of misaligned seams, but nothing I haven't encountered on my own quilts. Once it gets all sandwiched and quilted, these minor flaws will seem to disappear.

I love the addition of the skirt to this quilt :D:D:D
I have used decorative stitching too to hide some boo boo's
Never be leery of asking for help or a question, that is what this board is all about, helping and sharing :D:D:D
