I used a heavier weight pellon stabilizer on the back of each piece for a lined bag as I wanted the bag to stand up so the sunflower pattern would be seen on the front and back, and it worked beautifully! I also used stabilizer in the handles as well so they would stand.

Nice bag! I like the idea to use up the scraps....it's perfect for that quilter!

their is a stiffener for bags it is called buc ram it is a sew in type and it holds up well even after washing , got it at joanns just ask for it . DottieBug
