Valori Wells has a quilt shop in Oregon w/ her mom. Stitchinpost.com I found it online by chance. I had a piece of fabric I really liked and searched its manufacturer...Free Spirit Fabrics. On their website they have all their designers and pictures of quilts w/ download patterns. That is how I did Stacy's quilt (the one w/ the birds). I followed the fabric requirements and had sooooo much leftover. So for the rest, I winged it myself and was frugal. When a couple of my girls saw the finished result of Stacy's quilt...what I call the modern quilt style...they flipped so I knew I had a winner this year! Well...except for Sam...her fabric fit her personality to a tee and I had that one done well before Christmas. The Valori Wells fabric that I made Hannah's quilt with (the oranges and browns) came from an auction on ebay! It was a package of 10 fat quarters. I search several different quilt shops online (and ebay, but not too much) for the best prices. I fell absolutely in love w/ Tina Givens fabric (Chelsea's quilt) from Free Spirit and found a shop that had it bundled in fats for a super great price.

I still have 4 college kids here for another week....then I will clean my house really well, retrieve my sewing room, then I can SEW AGAIN!!! I've had a couple girls that were childhood friends see the quilts and have asked me to make them one.

I received EQ7 for Christmas...haven't even opened the box yet but I can't wait. We've been having too much fun w/ the kids playing games, going to movies and just relaxing.

Did you have any free time MONTHS before Christmas for anything but quilting? :) They are wonderful gifts you have made and given and I'm sure they will be charished. Nice sewing and I really like your materials, bright and fun.
