    those are fantastic! They look super hard--were they? I've seen a kit for similar quilts and just am not sure I can do one even though I'd love to!

    The second is quite easy, just strip sets. Kwilt Art pattern. The first is harder. It is the original 1910 Vortex so 52 wedges and 21 sections. Took time and patience. They will be great on my wall. Very high ceiling so needed something large and striking. This will work.

    Both beautiful. I would find it difficult to choose a favorite of the two. Just stunning!

    I love them both. I have made the first one. I haven't added the applique on the edges yet. I was going to do something different. How did you quilt it? That is one reason mine is unfinished. I can't decide how to quilt it. I also have the other pattern. I haven't started it yet. I love optical illusions.
