I've had many request to see a better picture of my avatar. I fused everything down and used raw edge applique. I was feeling really brave and decided to do some thread painting. I used a gold metallic thread and a slightly wobbly zigzag stitch. I was very pleased with the results. The pattern is a Florine Johnson Design. She has many hen and rooster patterns. Just google her name and you'll find her website. Thanks for everyone's interest in Walter, my avatar.
