    OMG, I Love it!!
The 12 inch is rated for 1,000 pounds. LOLOL!!!
Not likely I'll be pressing that hard but for the size it's great.
Thank you for the idea.
    Very cool.

Not sure it would be strong enough if it's plastic....but it's cheap! Worth a try!
I was thinking add a piece of ply, similar to what DH did, getting ideas for my smaller cutting mat, as it would be great when Paper piecing where I do a lot of trimming at every seam,

Mine is 17" and IS a little large for what you're doing. DH cut the bottom left corner of my cutting mat. That way it starts at 1" either way.
I Have a small cutting mat that is about 12" x 16" or there abouts, I place a small table to the right hand side of my machine, with a little iron on, a rotating board, along with my small cutter and 1" x 12" ruler, would make the whole process that much quicker...which has got to be good hasn't it!!
Sounds great! I have a travel ironing board and travel iron to the right of my machine. I don't have to get up. My cutting table is to the right of that (L shaped) and I figure having to get up to cut means I get the exercise my doctor wants me to have!! LOL LOL
