Your quilts are almost as beautiful as the person who made them. When my brother decided to move his young family into my grandmother's house to take care of her for what turned out to be the last year of her life, of course the primary care-giver became my saintly sister-in-law. My brother was working and in grad school and they had two preschool-age daughters. Years later, she told me she felt that the three children she had seven years later were a direct blessing for the service she gave to my grandmother.
God will remember the sacrifice you are making.

They are wonderful quilts. Isn't it nice when something you enjoy can give so much back to you? My Mom had alzheimers and it is not an easy thing to deal with. You will be in my thought and prayers. Keep on quilting.

What beautiful quilts! And your grandmother's is just beautiful, you did a great job hand quilting! I know your father appreciates your thoughtfulness and care for family heirlooms! Yes, quilting is my sanity as well!

God will bless you for caring for your in laws and I'm sure they appreciate it even though they might not be able to fully express it. It is wonderful how comforting quilting can be. Some people who don't quilt think it would only be another chore to add to their busy lives, but we know how relaxing, comforting and rewarding quilting can be. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see the coat.
