    Thanks for your input everyone. I feel better about all the different fabrics now. I will get busy and find a lay-out and get it finished soon I hope! I will post a picture when it is done.

    You can never use too many scraps. This is a wonderful quilt and he will be delighted with it. Your placement now shows off the "messy" with light next to dark.

    You absolutely did NOT use too many fabrics! The more the better for that type of quilt I think! Keep plugging, it looks wonderful and he is gonna love it!
