I decided I wanted to clean up my 'scraps' and would make a scrappy quilt. Some people think all my quilts are scrappy but this is truly my first scrappy quilt the others just have lots of different fabrics (I usually put at least 7-8 fabrics in a quilt). I started by cutting 2 1/2 inch squares. I used A LOT of them but still have a ton of 2 1/2 inch squares. I guess I will be making many more scrappy quilts. All of the fabrics have been used in other projects, and a few were sent to me by members of the QB through swaps. Thanks for looking.

The quilt measures 72x84 I guess I need a taller curtain rod

Thanks. I just put to blocks together. I did a 54-40 or Fight block and the other I am not sure what the name is it's a 9 patch the corners and center are four patches. I bought a tri -recs ruler for the 54-40 or fight block that really helped making those blocks.

Beautiful scrappy quilt. A good feeling to use up our scraps. I have a few of them going as well. The scraps seem to multiply.
