Oh, gosh, yes, I'm still swimming in them. Drives my dh crazy because I have all this fabric on the shelves and I'll be on floor picking up the small pieces, measuring them and putting them into their appropriate pile/bag. I have some more photos I took this morning, but didn't realize I had the quality set too high and have to find a way to resize them. Or easier, I'll just retake them tonight when I get home.

When I go to sewing days, I pick up bags of scraps. We have a lady who makes pet beds and she sorts her donations and pulls out the bigger pieces and gives them too me. Until this most reason time when I said, "No, no, don't bring them, I don't want to see them." Once I see them I want to use them. The group tends to give me the small donation pieces of less then 1/4 yard also.

I cut out the biggest square I can get, then strips and squares from the rest.

Love, love scrappies and yours are terrific! I especially favor the one with white borders - yummy!

I have several photos I want to post but since this is the first time I'm trying to post photos on the new board it may be a learning experience.

Waste not want not & scrappies are so pretty & unique. I think both of those things are important lessons for us all. Besides, they are so pretty & just beg to be cuddled up in. Feels like a big hug from the quiltmaker. Really nice work. Keep them coming girl.

    Default learning to resize pictures

I've found that when I do scrappy quilts, it works better to have 1 fabric or a color that runs through the whole thing to pull it all together.

Excellent scrappies! You all did very nice work. I am looking forward to working on one myself. I can see my scraps stacking up.
