Your quilt is beautiful. I just purchased some books to learn to do pictorial or landscape quilts. I hope some day I can make some as nice as yours. Did you use a kit or is this all your own design? Either way your friend will love it.

Beautifully done. Wish I could see it closer up for the details you described. Beautiful!

I just want to add 'artistically awesome' to all the wonderful words already spoken about this quilt.

PLEASE PLEASE make me one. I am a light house person and my late mother was a seagual person and we both loved the sea. How long (time) and how much ($$$) does this take????My brother was also a sea person nad he loved all things nature. Tony just died last night at 4:00 pm after years of fighting diabetes, he was the last seven years in bed. He was my baby brother. He is now with Mom (2004) and Dad (1984), and another brother we lost on Oct 31, 1964. [email protected]

absolutely fabulous how did you do those large rocks under the light house or were they a piece of landscape fabric of rocks?
