I'm so sorry that a careless remark by one teacher caused you to get so discouraged that you set quilting aside for so long. I'm really glad that you have picked it up again. Quilting is such a rewarding experience for me that I can't imagine not quilting. Your Jewel Box is lovely. I haven't a clue why she would say you did something wrong. I love it just the way it is. What have you got up your sleeve for quilt #3?

Glad you are back! Your quilt is beautiful! Teachers should be encouraging, not discouraging. Most folks would not choose the colors I do, but I like them and they suit me - and your colors suit you!

    Have FUN quilting!!!

Shame on that teacher. When I was in the 1st grade I always drew my favorite flower--tulips. On day I made some black and my teacher told me there were NO black tulips. Funny how I remember that over 60 years later! Glad you overcame your teacher's comment. Your quilt is lovely!

I like your quilt, and I like your choice of colors. Good for you for finishing it, and rain on the instructor for criticizing you! :)
