Default My Second Feathered Star mini quilt! ( well top only so far)

I enjoyed making my first feathered so much recently I had to make another! (here is my first one
http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...r-t193582.html) Here is my second try at a feathered star. I used a different tutorial I found online, but I didn't like it near as much as the first one I used, so I won't mention which one it was. I found that pieces didn't line up near as easy or perfect, and didn't give the measurements clearly. SO... I am glad I used the other tutorial first or I might not have made another one! I want to but one of Molly McCloskey's Feathered Star books to make some more. I really want to try a really small one just to see how small I can go!

I hope you like it! It is about 28" square. (still have to quilt it)

Wonderful feathered star mini!! I have a similar pattern to PP that is a bit bigger. Pretty fabrics-I've used that lovely stripe myself.

I love that pattern - you did a wonderful job - I am afraid to do that one - I have tried the lonestar a couple of times and not been successful - if you find a good technique let us know.

Outstanding! I love the colors and the mitered border and the center medalion and the corner medalions ... It ALL works and plays together so nicely!

    Well done.

I had a feathered star moment back in the fall. Home sick from work - needed a project. Your stars are beautiful - but want to see how small you can go? This is paper pieced.
