    question: when one uses fairly dense designs to quilt, is it best to use polyester thread or cotton? i've quilted before (domestic machine) with cotton thread and even with bottom line in the bobbin, it was stiffer than i wanted it to be. i used a pretty thin, good quality cotton batting, too.

    suggestions?

    It looks great. I think the first photo is showing a little lighter than it actually is. Your quilting is great.
