It is amazing...after a while you will forget just where your errors were, and soon you won't even be able to find them. Very handsome quilt! But now that you know what to be more cautious about in your seams, you'll make a lot of progress! Good going!

Jacob's Ladder in red & white.
Thanks to this forum I'm learning a lot. This is my second finished proyect since I joint the board.
I'm very proud of my red & white Jacob's Ladder quilt but the seams... I don't show you
LOL.
The 5" squares four patch 'a la Jenny Doan style' are not very acurate!! I learned it the hard way: you must sew a scant-scant 1/4" seams!! so Ladies and Gents please don't look my points very close!!!.
Now I need to find the fabric for the back, iron and sandwich it.
measures: 48" x 72"

I'm beginning a new proyect too, inspired by the wonderful Chinese Coins made by Lynn Dykstra http://kleinmeisjequilts.blogspot.co...s-process.html a link I found here in the board.

While piecing this top I'm improving my seams, learning to nesting them well and mastering
the scant 1/4". Each piece is 1 1/2" by 2 1/2".

I hope you like it! and thank you for looking.

I love the Jacobs ladder too. I'm not always wowed by traditional block and border designs, (just from overexposure I guess) but this is beautiful. I'm definitely going to have to try the two tone thing and consider solids more.
I'm assuming you've pieced smaller things because those blocks have alot of triangles and trapezoids. I see angles as a far off goal so I admire your ambition
