just what I was going to ask ! those 401s are real gems. looks like it might also be a 301 ? Is there a hole cut into the top to sit your machine down in ? would make it so much nicer to sew with a flat surface, especially quilting.

Aren't you smart for taking over the dining room. Now you get to sew in comfort AND there's a good reason to have holidays at the kids' houses!

Love your new sewing room. I use an old desk too. Mine is a metal office desk with an "L" so I put my sewing machine on the main desk and my serger on the L.

Oh wow, you did good. I love the desk. Might as well make the best of your space. I have never stored a sewing machine on its side. Is that ok to do that or will the oil leak out? Just wondering.

You did such a great job! I hope you have so much fun in your new room! I think dining rooms are highly overrated! We don't even use ours for dining lol :D

That is a great idea....I use to have a craft room at my house that I was living in but now since I live in a Apt My Bedroom is my Craft room per say. I still need to get a 4 foot table for my sewing/cutting/Quilting and than I'll be all set.

Where do you cut your material at?

    Lovely Sewing room...you did good.
