Oh, I'm so sorry this happened to you!

We had a toliet overflow in our bedroom once and yes we had insurance.
Insurance was nice but it was extremely disruptive and frankly a lot of work to get the room back to order. The rug was stinky (mold) and had to be replaced. We were up most of one night moving things out of the bedroom. (you know the closet where you throw things and close the door) I'll never forget it.....

I do hope your upstairs neighbor makes some attempt to reimburse you or help you for the mess she caused!

If we can be of any help, let us know. When quilting is your livelihood, it is particularly important!

Oh my goodness! This is a worst nightmare!

As stated before, keep track of your time cleaning, sorting, cleaning supplies, time lost due to not being able to do your job, etc. We had a fire in our basement due to washer shorting out and our insurance comany paid us to do the clean up and paid for time, supplies, replacement of items, etc. I just couldn't have someone else come in and work in my home. Silly me

What if anything, can we help you with besides being in our thoughts and prayers?

Wish we could be there to help you.

    Hugs :?

THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU THAT RESPONDED AND SENT PM'S. This is why I love this board! Its a waiting game now for reimbursement. Aside from the inconvenience of it all I must say I'm itching to quilt! Thankfully none of my quilts in progress (QIP) were harmed. however I am still claiming them due to the humidity in the room. I will keep you all posted and again Thank You so much for your kind words!

This is a terrible thing to have happen. I hope the insurance adjuster understands the amount of hours that go into a quilt.

 Oh, my. T & P going out to you. Is there anything we can do from afar??? I'd be there to help you clean if I were close by.
