Wow, you do have a lot of room, and from the sound of it you know exactly where everything is. Which is much better than me, because I can't ever find something when I need it. :-)

I love your rooms and I just wanted to say that I used to keep "good gift boxes" so everyone got used to not getting excited or dissappointed when they saw the boxes, the funniest part was when I'd ask to have them back! Now it's so hard to buy the right gift I just give money and let them get whatever I can afford, it's so much easier.

Joanne, love your rooms, and admire your daring...to just 'bare' it.
Most of us, are so chickens...baaaawk! have to straighten up some, but truth is, about the only thing I did in my cave before taking pics, was cover up Elle's block I was working on, and pulled back my main stash curtain.
It is hard to let ppl see who you are though.
I laughed when reading about mom's boxes...that is me, up and down.
Learned from my MIL...what'd I get? what'd I get? crackers????
    shoes???? a box fan???? cereal?????
I do have to buy a few, but kids don't keep boxes like I do.
I will even re-size a box, if I don't have one the right size. I just cut right down the center and slide one side over the other and tape with masking or duct tape. It's what's inside the box that counts, so why spend a lot of money on the packaging?
Leaves more for the gift buying. :D

I absolutely LOVE your spaces!!!! You are my kind of woman there Joanne. I'm soooo sooo jealous of that huge cutting table that is up all the time. I am so limited...I'm constantly putting things away and rearranging my dining room!

Your rooms look like they get tons of use and that's the best. I also think it's hysterical about your daughter turning into you. I can see it already in my 10 year old but fortunately for me, she doesn't think I'm a dufus yet. When I point these things out to her she takes it as a compliment...probably last another 6 months if I'm lucky!!

Thanks so much for sharing this - you cheered me up after a long, crabby-people-filled day.

    I LOVE BOTH ROOMS!
    Now, a question for you....
    That in CT, right?
Do you just leave all that stuff there and then go back to AZ to another sewing room? What do you do with your house in CT when you leave, rent it out? Family lives there? I cannot imagine that house stays empty ALL winter and no mice creeping in?
