    I consider myself a beginner....the pattern is from a book called Scrap Basket Surprises by Kim Brackett. I think the name of the pattern is just Pinwheel. It's the first block I've made with this many pieces but not difficult at all. I used parts of two matching jelly rolls I got on sale last year.
