Very nice room! I love the pressing table. I have one of those pincushion thingys next to my serger. They work great! Your French Braid is beautiful, hope you post it when you are done.

I especially like your ironing board. Did you buy it, did someone make it for you, or did you make it yourself? I've wanted one like that but have searched and never found it. I finally settled for an extra large one from Sears, but the shape is just a regular ironing board shape. I also love your sewing machine table. 8-)

Thanks for all the nice comments about my sewing room. Yes, I made my ironing board...Well, my hubby helped a little..It's a piece of oak, I think, about 2 feet wide and 4 feet long..Fits nice over my ironing board but I have it on a table right now..The oak or pine, whatever it is, is tooooooo heavy..If you drop it on your foot, watch out!!!!I think if I ever made another one I would make it out of plywood...If you use a really thin board it might warp. I also had him drill a few holes in the bottom so the steam could escape. I added a few layers of batting and a pretty fabric on the top. Turned it over and stapled it to the bottom of the board. Then he added two little boards the length of the board to the bottom so if you put it on your ironing board, it won't slip off. If your hubby is good with a saw, he could even round off the corners..Much better if you have little kids around. Hope I explained it ok. Luv my board and take it on all my quilting trips...
