Nice space and boy do you have alot of patterns and fabric. I just heard about that law which will affect so many people (goodwill) I really need to look into that.

wow- your room is going to be awesome! I love your curtains! I'm planning on making blocks for mine, but now that I see yours set on point, I think I like that better! What size are they? (I'll give you full credit for stealing your idea when I finish my room)

I think the blocks were 8" finished and about 11" diagonally. If you get a lot of sun, be sure to interline them with something heavy so they are opaque.

I'm not sure exactly how big the room is - it is BIG. We live in an old Victorian farmhouse. It used to be the parsonage for the Episcopal church next door, and now they rent it to us. :-) When we first moved from the farm to town, I was very unhappy, but I just love this house. I hope we can stay here along time.

I will ask DH for his tape measure when he gets home.

I could have some fun in that room! Good luck on the remodel. I'm sure it will be wonderful.

You know, I am sorry for the snide comments about the CPSIA, and I hope you all know I am not in favor of lead poisoning. It's the law itself - how incredibly foolishly it is written - that I am upset about.
