    What he did was take an existing table and make a framed "table top" to put on top of the original table. He put that divider in it to keep it very stable, and he left it open on that one side so I can slide rulers and mats into the gap between the original table top and the new, higher one. It is VERY sturdy. He says I can dance on it if I am so inclined. :lol:

    All of the furniture is make with 2X4's, 2X8's and plywood, but the staining and varnish really dress it up.
