What great workmanship!!!!! You should be proud of your room but most of all your DH. He is good!!! I really like how the thread cabinet is inset into the wall. What a great use of space. kudos

ok Sis, since you brought it up, I'll share some other features not noted in the original post:
Cutting table is on casters so I can move it around and counter top is hinged in case I'm too lazy to bend over and open the doors on the side you don't see in the pic.
He also made and hung up a design wall.
The antique Singer on the cabinet top - free off Craigslist and DH took it all apart, cleaned it and got it working.
The ends of the top & bottom wall cabinets also have pegboard on them so I can hang more stuff.
The white thread cabinet didn't have a door when we got it - he got one.
There's another thread rack for regular machine thread on the wall opposite the white cabinet. Holds 120 spools.
Notice the paper towel rack he put under the top of the cutting table.
Sewing machine counter has holes cut out for cords to fall thru.
He hung up a large bulletin board in my room.
Put in the CD/Radio under the wall cabinet (in picture)
Sewing machine counter is installed on heavy duty brackets - I could pile over 750 lbs on it ...hmmm, wonder how much fabric that would be?
Got me that nifty little woodgrain file cabinet to keep paperwork and stuff in.

All that, and I still won't let him use my scissors......but thanks everyone for all the nice comments. I have shown him them all.....but I'm keeping him, sorry.

Yep, that's a dream room. What is the overall size of the room?
