My husband took me on an early Mother's Day shopping adventure. We drove over to Salem, Oregon via Santiem Pass what a beautiful drive. First stop was Craft Warehouse where I got a bundle of 12 FQ's and a grab bag and some glass thingy. Next it was off to Kohl's for some new shirts and a pair of jeans and a cute pair of flip flops. And I even got a $10.00 coupon for this weekend. Then south to Eugene where we went to the Goodwill store, I couldn't believe it, a bag of remnants was 30 bucks and it wasn't even a big bag. I was so disappointed. So we headed to Joann's, were I perked up and bought 3 yards of fabric some thread and my husband found me some cute buttons with peace signs on them. And a McCall's Quilting magazine which had a free cd that has 10 scrappy quilt designs.

    Always, my sister always

I sign all my quilts with a peace sign, everything else I make has a peace sign charm on it.

so nice of your DH , it means a lot when they do something like that...enjoy...I won't be home for Mothers Day, driving to Sheridan, WY to take the youngest boy to a soccer tournament for the weekend and come home late Sunday night. But I love it.
