    I'm not sure but is that what they call a chain stitch machine??? It's adorable. I'd love to find one for my (very small) collection some day. enjoy her!!!

    I agree with using sewing machine oil on it. I think a fine quality of baby oil would be safe also (and less expensive).

    I agree...only sewing machine oil and a very soft cloth or maybe some Qtips...I have seen this machine before...look on Ebay and see if you can find it listed under antique Toy machines or chainstitch...
