She looks like a Sadie to me, smiles. If I could do applique' wouldn't her decals make a wonderful wall hanging?

My DH repairs and refinishes musical instruments, and the very first thing he uses on any finish, and usually the most successful, is spit and q-tips. I am constantly amazed at how clean he can get almost any finish with just those two things and being slow and careful.

Since she is German, she should have a proper German name. My Great- grandma was German and her name was Louisa Lena Antoinette. One of my grandmas was also German (on the other side of family) and her name was Rosa. There are many beautiful names to choose from. Congratulations. I'm thinking I might just need one to celebrate my heritage!

It might be a machine used to sew leather. The foot is heavy and the rod that holds the thread is very sturdy.
