Congrats. I love paper piecing so much I don't want to do regular piecing because my seams aren't as straight or points as sharp. Once you have the basics down, it's time to try a more challenging block.

Nicely done. Understanding is 90% of the battle ... I had a time getting it through my thick skull

I love paper piecing. Once you get your head around the technique it is awesome. You can make some really complicated blocks easily once you can paper piece. I wish I had the time to do more of it. My avatar is all paper pieced.

PPing is easy to get hooked on....I know this as I did....I like the Carol Doak method, although there are so many different ones to like. Your work, so far, is great.....the more you do, the more you will like the preciseness of it. I find it relaxing and I usually tear my paper off when I need to do something not needing my total attention. In fact, for some things, I use a foundation that does not even need to be taken off......it is more expensive, so I only use it for designs that will go into note cards, etc.

I started with a simple paper pieced and then did a whole quilt with frogs, bugs and marsh grass. I was addicted for awhile.
