A suggestion that you may want to think about...use some of the material to make pillows. I had one of my Aunts to make pillows from my daughter dress and they turn out beautiful,

I am so sorry for your family's loss. At the Sisters quilt show there were a number of quilts made from wedding gowns. They were hanging in the store that sells clocks. I didn't take pictures, but there are some on this site.

I am so sorry. I have no suggestions, but whatever you do will be a wonderful tribute to her.

I can't imagine (and really don't want to) the pain of losing a sister. I am very sorry. The good in this, she was and still is loved.

My recommendation would be a foundation-pieced crazy quilt. You could add more embellishments. I hope the project soothes your soul.

I am sorry for your loss. What a great idea to make a quilted treasure from her dress!

So sorry for your loss. I am sure the quilt will be a comfort. May you feel a healing peace as you create it.

What a sweet memorial this will be. I have been looking and looking for a link I saw a few months back that had a gorgeous crazy quilt made from a wedding dress. Still can't find it but I will keep looking.

My first thought was a crazy quilt also.
