    You did a wonderful job. The label was GENIUS! The soldier that gets this is sure to love and cherish this beautiful quilt.

    That's a wonderful tribute for someone who served. Both you and the quilter did a great job on the design and the quilting. (And isn't it nice to give the quilt away to someone who truly deserves it!)

    WOW! That is beautiful and I know the soldier will love and appreciate having it. Also, I am thrilled you won the Grand Prize quilt...you certainly deserved winning!

    way to go, what a beautiful quilt. I too make "wounded solides" quilts. The last one I made was given to a man that came home from the war, wounded and now works at the Walmart in a town 30 miles away. Though I did not deliver the quilt personally one of my co worker did and told me the solider cried. Glad I wasn't there, I would have cried too.....I'm now making one for a Vietnam vet that was looking on when the solider was crying.

    I love to make quilts for soilders...
