Did you take Aniko Feher's class? She is a Michigan teacher. You did a really nice job. Portraits are a lot of work.

That is really exquisite. You did an excellent job. It rivals any portrait quilt I saw at the Houston International Quilt Show last November and there were several. One was a large quilt of a person of color, but what caught my eye was the quilting. There were faces quilted all over the large face. Quite different!

I've always wanted to do this type of quilted wall hanging, but getting the skin shades correct scares me. I'm afraid my faces would truly be as the children's hymn and only loved by Jesus. You know, red and yellow, black and white. Sure wouldn't be like any human I've met.

Beautiful quilt.
