Fons & Porter Love of Quilting March, 2008. I made mine smaller than theirs, I believe theirs was for a King Size, I just made the side borders smaller to accommodate a queen. I have the mag if anyone is interested.

Thanks for your reply`s, I love the quilt pictures. I am thinking geometric and will ask them for their color choice. The quilts I made them before are black and very bright colours.

I would love to know the pattern name of the quilt for your son. I would like to make one for my son and I have been saving this photo in my mail for months now. I think I can recreate it but I am a little nervous.

Both are beautiful but I am really drawn to the quilt. Nice pattern and colors for males.

I am interested in the magazine. Would you be willing to share the dimensions of the strips and size of the blocks. The pattern does not look too difficult but I would feel more comfortable knowing a little more before beginning.

My favorite is your black and white one. I have a nephew who is getting married and who would love this quilt. I may need to make him a similar one! Great job on both.
