    So many nice words, and lots of questions. The pattern came from the June 2011 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting. The quilt shown was called Batik to nature. I call mine "Love grows". I did machine applique with fusible and did shadow quilting around all the leaves and vines with SID where the blocks are. I also did some more leaf shapes in the more open areas. I did all hand quilting so it's not as filled in as many would do. The magazine showed it with much more quilting and I would have loved to do more but i know my limitations!
