My Spiders Web scrappy quilt top progress
I have admired so many scrappy quilt patterns on Bonnie Hunter's site and have made a few but I have looked and looked at the Spiders web pattern and thought it would be a bit difficult and then realised it was PP! I love PP so I have a tentative "go" last week and even though there was a couple of mismatched seams the block came out useable so I carried on and now I am well and truly hooked! The pattern really allows you to highlight your fabric scraps and even the smallest can be used. I have just finished Row 3 of a 7 block wide top, I will be putting some borders on so that it comes out to a 6' " wide and will try and do it about minimum 7' long. The only worry I have is that I have enough of the neutral for the stars, if not I will do a row/rows top and bottom in a complimentary colour. Is it making any inroads of my scrappy pile, NO they just keep on multiplying like rabbits in the spring

I too have made Bonnie's Spiderweb and yours looks great! Did you see Bonnie's new Spiderweb with yellow background this week? She has off set the blocks in rows instead of doing the circles for a whole new updated look, makes me want to do another one.
forgot to mention it is on her site www.quiltville.blogspot.ca
