    Default My Stained Glass Quilt:)

The pattern is called Modern Mission by Barbara Campbell. It was in an older McCalls magazine. I wanted to make this quilt since I saw it in the magazine- my first stained glass quilt and I really enjoyed making it and quilting it. This too I put in our local show! It measures about 47 by 60some inches and it is made in my favorite deep rich autumn colors. The judge commented about "the beautiful vibrant color." I was happy to read that I truly love these colors. I played around with the quilting and really like what I came up with.

    Happy Quilting all!

That's wonderful! What technique did you use for your 'lead' around your 'glass'? I put a few quilts each year into a judged show so I can get an outsider's opinion on what I need to work on.

That is very pretty. What do you do to make the dark outlines?

Beautiful and it does look like a stain glass window.

Great job. I can see why you would want to make this quilt. It's beautiful.
