I have really just started sewing about a year or so ago and got into quilting because it looked like it could be fun. Well I decided to branch off a little bit and make some stockings for my FIL and my daughter.
I did them out of fleece instead of cotton and it was fun to sew. I even made the pattern up myself and went from there.

MY wife and I could not believe the prices for Christmas stockings this year.
My FIL always takes his home and they just stay there and every year we always buy him another one. But the nice looking ones were like $12 to $20 so I told my wife I would make him one.
I made the two for under $8 and still had enough to make 2 more if I needed too.
