    My friend Colleen wanted to learn how to quilt so for Christmas I gave her a card and a coupon good for sewing lessons on my machine and she could choose from my stash enough fabric for 6 placemats and a table runner.

    She was a total newbie and I was amazed at how quickly she caught on.

    That was a nice Christmas gift. And fun too! She did a great job under your guidance. It's fun sharing quilting with someone.
