I love the photos of the runners and your son, you can tell he is very proud of himself and he should be! I have a special needs adult child and he really loves bowling too. Sounds like those two need to hang out for a while so my son can get some pointers from yours, I know Chase would love it!

Your quilts are wonderful, and your son is, too. My daughter died 8 years ago at age 23. She was born with a cleft lip and palate and was diagnosed at age 18 with a form of autism (Asperger's disease) but unbeknownst to us, she evidently also had a heart condition that was undetectable. I'm so glad she went to a very good college (Grinnell, in Iowa) that gave her the support and friendship that built confidence and a feeling of worth for her. I'm sure Special Olympics does the same for your son.
