Paper princess, I pieced three two and one half strips. Then cut across at two and one half. Gee ,I never thought of stableizer ! That sure would of helped. Because it was very hard to keep it from jumping back when cutting the cross strips. I don't think I'll use minky for a two inch block anytime soon. My seams were only 1/4. They matched up ok , I was pleased, and thankful. Pressing was a big pain, and I thought for sure I did the bubbles in. I had to get the ripper out, because of flipping my nap, even after being very carful not too. Then I changed to the walking foot in the middle of sewing my seams. And my ripper came out again. Gee ,what a difference between those two 1/4 inches. The seams on the minky didn't raval and make a mess when I cut. I did run a little liquid seam sealant on the strip, before cuting the cross cut. I mostly made from fabric I had, and the blue minky was the new fabric,oh what a pretty blue that minky is. Thanks for tip. Butter

Thanks everyone , for the comments. A great place to come to and share and learn. And it took me two weeks to get the picture posted. I'll try to get it right the next time. I gave up on turning it. I already gave the quilt ,so I couldn't retake it horizontally. Butter
