Default My third quilt for a dear friend

Hi everyone, well I finally finished this third quilt for my dear friend in Kansas. Its a lap quilt really but my first serious attempt with a FMQ pattern. I really loved putting the colours together and thought she would like this colour scheme- she just celebrated her 70'th birthday recently,an ex vet and she has been a great friend to me over the years. What do you folks think? I loved the Batiks, I am just hoping its not too garish.

great- I feel better now- she loves white and her bedroom is a duck egg blue so I was trying to find a colour scheme she would like and funky too- I know I feel young inside- its just my outside thats wrinkly and doesnt work at times!

If the photo colors are fairly true, your quilt is far from garish and sounds like it will be a perfect fit with her color scheme. Very nice quilt.
