I have found some great fabrics at the thrift stores, but not that much at one time. :-) When I find something quilted and handmade, I can't pass it by. Someone put a lot of love and care into the items, and someone should take them home and enjoy them, so I do. :-)

I have been shopping at thrift and goodwill stores for years. Used to get really good deals. Seems now they have caught on to us quilters and the prices have gone way up.

Wow. I'm glad you don't live here. I have enough competition at the thrift shop. You did geat. How much a yard? I get mine for about .50 a yard, sometimes less. Have fun with that fabulous fabric.
