I made this for my friends grandson. I often buy fabrics that I think are cute and then wonder why; but hold on to them and eventually they are perfect. My friend owns a construction company and the little boy's father is a builder. This was their first child and when my friend told me they were having a baby boy the "lightbulb" came on. I knew when I bought this material I would someday have a use for it. Perfect. The red border has nuts and bolts that don't show up well in this picture.

What a great idea! I sometimes buy children's prints, too, knowing that a future quilt is in there somewhere.

Great quilt. I have been looking for tool fabrics, did you find yours online, and if so which site. Thanks

Cute, cute. Every fabric has a purpose, just sometimes we have to wait a little longer to find it.
