Cool My Toronto Maple Leaf Quilt

Here are a couple of pictures of my Toronto Maple Leafs quilt that I just finished for my DSIL who is a die hard TML's fan. Here in Canada, hockey is the king of sports & he is an obsessed fan. My DD had asked me to make him this lap quilt for Christmas but he will be getting it about a month before the holiday as we are going for a visit there next week & I want to see his face when he opens his "surprise". Hope the pics turn out.

    Fantastic!!!
Your white inner border was a perfect choice to frame up the all over large logo print.
The white flange adds such a nice touch at the outside edge to make the binding give another framing effect

    Perfect in every way!!!!
And without a doubt, this should get you the BEST MIL EVER award from your DSIL!

(now ... show the backing too!

Thank you my fellow Canucks. Only Canadians can appreciate how much hockey means to this country. LOL
This will just add to his "VAST" collection of TML's memorabilia, including leather furniture in blue & white with the TML logo on it. His rec room is a shrine to them!!!

Your quilt is beautiful. I love it. I don't know how much hockey means to Canadians but I love going to see my local "Knoxville Ice Bears" most, if not all, of the players are from Canada. They really have a lot of die hard fans here.

That is awesome. Great job from a "not so avid" Buffalo fan, at the moment anyway.

I know what you mean. My DD keeps saying every time the Leafs "blow it" her DH says he's going to sell everything. Well, I hope that doesn't happen now after I did all this work. His rec room is a shrine to the Leafs & he has things everywhere, including the garage, his "man cave". It is all tastefully done but he has TML stuff everywhere. Oh well, he could be doing worse things. LOL
