I hope I/m not being too nosy but as I say this quilt is magnificent
Hi Buzy Lizzy Thanks for the compliment. This is actaully a UFO quilt that I just finally had Shelley quilt. I did it in 2008.
So I'll see what I can remember. The log cabin strips were
    2 1/2" strips. I believe the blocks were 18 1/2" Unfinished.
Shelley still has it or I'd measure to be sure.
I was trying my hand at doing the turn applique method but was not very successfull so I changed to just the buttonhole stitch. I have some embellisments to put on it yet so as soon I get it back I'll be adding some beads and buttons to some of the flowers. So its still going to be a WIP.
And don't worry your not being nosy at all. Let me know if you have anymore questions about .
Thanks again. And Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful compliments.

Beautiful Quilt! Your top didn't seem to mind waiting at all! This one really shows what can happen when the right longarmer gets to work on the right top...MAGIC comes to mind as the word to describe this collaboration. Well done, Ladies! Hat's off to both of you!

Yeah that was a sad day to see Pam leave. I loved it there.

Busy Lizzy, I lied they were 2" strips for the log cabin pattern.
    Sorry about that. :|

OMG I'm jumping up and down. That is a knock-out quilt. Is there a pattern for it or is it your own design. You did a wonderful job on it, too. It's beautiful....I'm gushing all over the place.

Truly a work of art... both your applique and Shelly's quilting.
Is she listed on Long Arm quilters board? Would love to contact her.
