My Urban Nine Patch top is done :D
It took me a bit of work but I finished my Urban Nine Patch quilt top a few weeks ago. It's too big to take a picture on my design wall so I thought I'd wait for my guild meeting. It was a bit too big for us to display and the room we were isn't very picture friendly for big quilts. I'll get another picture taken when I have it quilted.
It's the Urban Nine Patch quilt pattern. It is available at http://sewkindofwonderful.com/
It uses the Quick Curve Ruler... which I like a lot. I would love it if it were made by Creative Grids but alas she went with a different manufacturer. I added some of that clear grippy stuff on the bottom of it but it's just not the same as a Creative Grids ruler grippiness. I know, I have officially become a ruler snob lol. I didn't think I'd ever see the day but man, I love those rulers!
The Urban Nine Patch quilt I did is really big. I want to say it's about 100" square or so. I am going to be using my Urban Neighborhood quilt for the back side.
The members of my quilt guild all want me to quilt the heck out of this but since it's a double sided quilt it will end up getting an all over. I do have blocks left over. I will make them up in to a wall hanging or lap quilt and that one I will break out the mad quilting skills

I need to make a few more quilts before I can get this one quilted sadly but I'm hoping to have it on my bed by the new year. I want to make a double sided quilt for each of my boys' beds and a quilt to display in the main area of our local library. I'm thinking snowmen.... something that you don't see very often in Alabama!
