Some other nice person on here had posted a picture of a baby quilt they had made with bears. I really liked it and thought "I can do that" so here is my version. I made it for my niece who's baby will be here in Jan. I just made up my own pattern using a plastic lid for the head size and other circles for the ears, eyes, etc. I made the middle bear out of fuzzy material but did not put the snout on it as I couldn't figure out how to do it. That is why it doesn't have one. Flannel on the back and I did it QAYG so it is all done and just waiting to be mailed off. I just zig-zagged around the edges of everything because I am not good with applique yet. But this should work. I even threw it in the washer just to make sure it would withstand washings.

Thanks...That doesn't show a half of it. Have the closet partly filled too plus bags of scraps and pieces to someday make a crumb quilt. Oh dear...I need to live to be 100 and still be able to see and sew! :-)
