Default My version of a log cabin quilt

My inspiration for this came from Jenny at MSQ Co. (the 4th of July jellyroll was one of her daily specials) and I watched one of her on-line demo's for doing a log cabin quilt. The rickrack added to the binding was an idea from a quilting friend who demonstrated this at a mini class given at the local quilt show last summer. I think I'll snuggle under it up north this summer as we watch the fireworks!

Nicely put together and it looks like fireworks going off. Lovely colours.

That rick rack in the binding is a fun touch and just perfect for this quilt.
