    I've made a couple of these, and have found if you omit an even number of the larger wedges, it still comes out the same, but smaller.

    That one is pretty. Don't change it a bit. Just put it on a larger flat space, everyone will love it.

    Very pretty. My first one was a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be too. Had to leave out a couple of wedges and trim the sides down to make it fit on my coffee table.
