Our family has a Dresden Plate Variation. I have the original pattern from a newspaper and the cardboard patterns my Grandmother used to make the quilt. It has the ice cream cone border.

    What a find!!
I believe this pattern is called "Dresden Plate" I bought a book at JoAnnes titled "Grandma's Quilting Bee" and has this very same pattern. It has all the directions ot make it. since you have these lovely pieces, you have a head start. This pattern is also known as "Friendship Ring" and "Grandmothers Sun Bonnet" If you can't find it I would be happy to copy it and send to you.

Not knowing how big the Dresend plates are I would say they have to be appliqued on to a backing usually 10-12-14-16inch blocks then sewn together. You need to cut a center peice for the flowers center. Good luck you are very lucky to find such a buy....
