Hi everybody, being new to this grp. I rarely reply to things but since I started my first flannel "Rail Fence" quilt yest. for a special friend, I need to ask about the starching. I did find that the flannel stretches a lot & becomes distorted. It sounds like a lot of you starch a LOT. Is it just flannel or everything? I would appreciate everybody's input about starching.
I love this grp. & read every word.

I would love to snuggle under the wildlife quilt.

It is soooo cute. I do iron both sides, and I also starch, usually on the wrong side. I starch because I tend to stretch it too much, especially if I have to undo a lot. If I am cutting triangles, no matter what fabric I am using, I starch as well.
